Palmer Wireless Medtech was formed in 2018 after years of Ed observing medical device companies struggle with development and regulatory challenges resulting from companies’ lack of intimate knowledge of wireless technology as well as the disparity between short wireless product cycles and long product lifetimes of medical devices. Proper selection of wireless technology for a medical device requires deep understanding of the use environment and users of the medical device and planning for obsolescence, as well as the wireless and medical regulatory landscape.
These frustrations fuel Ed’s passion for helping customers like you integrate wireless technology into medical devices. Growing the Palmer Wireless Medtech team and bringing in other areas of expertise has allowed PWM to deliver high quality medical device engineering output to companies like yours.
We work alongside your team and under your quality management system (QMS) to fill expertise gaps, accelerate your schedule, and bring a product that complies with all applicable standards to market.
Our technical experts are based in the heart of Medical Alley in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We’ve worked with the most trusted names in medical device manufacturing as well as enterprising engineers with a big idea for the next lifesaving medical device.
Let Palmer Wireless Medtech architect and design the wireless, electrical, and software solution for your medical device, allowing your team to focus on developing your core competencies and medical technology.

“The entire Palmer team has been fantastic to work with throughout our software development and verification process for our complex and novel medical device. Their communication with our internal team was always excellent, open, and honest throughout the project.”
“The PWM team was able to gauge the amount of calendar time and billable hours various activities would take with an extremely high degree of accuracy, more than any other vendor we partner with, thereby minimizing budgetary surprises and making schedule planning easy.”
“We received a grand total of zero questions regarding the software development and verification activities, which is a testament to the excellent work of this team on putting together a solid submission package for our software. My thanks go out to Palmer Wireless Medtech for their partnership on this journey!”
